Graphic Design

I started working in photoshop in 2014 as a graphic designer at the University of Alaska Anchorage in their Student Activities Department while pursuing my Computer Science degree.  There I experimented with many styles to create posters to advertise for various dances, movie nights, and other fun events across campus.  This was my stepping stone to dabbling in logo design and other exciting opportunities. I am now using my experience for packaging design, brand management, and I am working in pubic relations at Southcentral Foundation designing brochures and leading social media campaigns.  If you need an exciting logo, engaging poster, or a wild packaging project completed, please message me with inquiries.

Can Design

I began designing cans for Brewerks in May of 2023. My girlfriend and life partner Jenn was preparing to hang her hyper realistic landscape paintings there and Chad mentioned to her that he was looking for local talent to design his cans. Jenn suggested to Chad that I would be a great candidate for the job. I emailed Chad a sampling of my work and we soon scheduled a meet up. I had been wanting to design cans for years but had never had the opportunity besides a one off painted can for Girdwood Brewing.

This being a dream of mine, I was very nervous going into our initial meeting that I left my car door wide open and had to run back out and close it back up.  The first can design was for the double IPA "I Don't Play Well With Others", with the idea of a wolf in sheep's clothing.  I had the idea that the wolf was jealous of them playing with a ball and we went on from there. This was the start of an amazing opportunity.

Chad will come up with a loose idea and let me run with wherever the inspiration takes me, its some of the most fun I've had designing, and is continually a creative fueling exercise.  Our process allows me to try out new art styles and tap into my many areas of inspiration.
